After years of wanting a change but not knowing where to begin, a leak forced our clients into action. New carpet in one area of their open floor plan quickly became an opportunity to address the dated finishes, tired flooring, lack of light, and overall style of the home they had raised their family in. Our goal was to create a space that reflected who they are now, while keeping resale and budget in mind.

Rather than starting from scratch, we refreshed the kitchen with painted cabinetry, new appliances, countertops, and hardware, and transformed the family room by shortening the oversized hearth, adding a French door, and redesigning the fireplace façade. Select existing furnishings were reimagined alongside new lighting, art, window treatments, and contemporary pieces, bringing a cohesive Modern European elegance to the kitchen, family room, living room, and dining room.
